The rest of December’s schedule in a nutshell; Today may only be the 8th, but we already need to wrap up the month and get ready for a new year. New bootcamp, new taekwondo testing, new goals for you? Will this be the year you get your blackbelt? SO:  Friday the 9th – always a big class day! From the crack of dawn to very end of the evening we will be open and busy!   All Taekwondo students, this is your last class day to get ready for the Goodwill Tournament at American River College on Sunday the 11th! For everyone participating; good luck, take lots of pictures and don’t forget to bring in all your hard-earned shiny medals to display on the front counter.   All tournament participants and attendees, make arrangements with Lisa Wildman and she will ensure all those great pictures you take get posted! There are also the fights on Sunday. Information on this epic event is posted around the studio.   Friday the 16th ~ “Punch and Cookie” party ~ bring in a treat to share with your classmates to your regularly attended class and we’ll all celebrate the holiday season together. Sunday the 18th ~  Community Self-Defense and Safety Seminar~ our free hour and a half seminar demonstrating simple, hands-on, easy to learn, proven techniques that everyone should know to help ensure you and your family’s personal safety. Space is still available. Call 530-887-0215 to reserve yours today.  The studio will remain open after the seminar until 5:30 pm. for those who wish to bring a snack to share and wrap any “last-minute gifts” (supplies not provided). This is the last Sunday before Christmas Eve. Lastly, the studio is closed for the holidays starting Friday, December 23 (except for Fitness Bootcamp ~ sorry – not) until January 2, 2012. January starts right into the new taekwondo testing cycle on the 6th, so no relaxing on break!!  Well, okay, a little. Everyone needs to catch their breath. But practice all your material daily. There is no rest for the wicked! Keep checking back for exciting new activities coming in 2012. Have what you think would make a fun activity or a great idea? Feel free to pass it on to Debbie Lovas or Lisa Wildman.  Lastly, It’s fantastic watching everybody pass out Gift Certificates for a free month of training. What a great way for your friends to find out why you love martial arts so much! Exercise is so much more fun with a buddy! Keep gifting away!!!
